3. Local Processing

When you type a pattern, apply filters, or use the Wordle helper, your input is processed entirely within your browser. The word list dictionary is downloaded once to your browser and all matching happens in memory on your device. None of this data is sent to our servers.

4. Automatically Collected Technical Data

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information such as IP address (anonymized), browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used solely for security monitoring and aggregate traffic analysis. It is not linked to any personal identity.

We use only a single preference stored in your browser's localStorage to remember your light/dark mode preference. This is not a cookie and is never transmitted to our servers. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party behavioral cookies.
